Hemingway area men's Prayer Breakfast at Ebenezer

Several years ago a group of Ebenezer men began meeting on each Tuesday morning to share known needs of the community. There would be a time of Prayer and then go to breakfast, usually there were 3 or 4 men present. When our current pastor (Jim Davis came, He showed interest in the Prayer breakfast and began to support it. One by one other men of Ebenezer church began to attend: then some friends from the Hemingway Baptist, Hemingway Pentecostal Holiness, Johnsonville United Methodist, Old Johnsonville United Methodist and Pleasant Hill Baptist ; Now all attend on a regular basis. For over a year we have been cooking our own breakfast. We eat and have a time shearing our concerns and mentioning prayer needs. Jim reads a portion of Scripture and gives a short devotion; afterwards each take turns as the Lord leads them to pray.
