Walks:

To attend a walk, you will need to have a sponsor who has previously attended. If you are interested in attending and don't know anyone who might sponsor you, contact any member of the board (listed in the newsletter), and we will help you get in touch with someone from your church or your community who can help you.

Sponsors: You can download an application to sponsor a pilgrim on an upcoming walk.

We are currenly waiting to see when we will be able to schedule our next walks, which have been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Walks are held at Camp Summers and Manget [map] in Cameron, South Carolina.

Sendoff and Closing are usually held at Jericho United Methodist Church [map] just east of Cameron. Sendoff is at 6:30 PM on Thursday evening. Closing is at 4:30 PM on Sunday. (Sendoff and closing services are for community members and current walk participants only.)

Community members are also invited to the candlelight service on Saturday during the walks at 8:00 PM to pray for all those who are taking part on the weekend. The candlelight service is usually at Providence United Methodist Church [map] on US 176 less than two miles west of I-95.

There is no child care at sendoff, closing, or the candlelight service. Please arrange for someone to care for your children at home when attending these events.

Gatherings:

Gatherings, open to everyone, are normally held monthly on the third Friday except when this would conflict with Walk schedules or Easter weekend. At this time, we are monitoring the guidance concerning gathering for worship to determine when we will be able to resume meeting in person for Gatherings.

Community Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing the activities of the community. You can find the names and contact information for board members in most issues of the newsletter.
