SOUTH
CAROLINA UNITED METHODIST WOMEN
CALLING ALL UNITS!
South Carolina Conference Charter
for Racial Justice Committee is establishing a Charter for Racial Justice Club
to engage United Methodist Women in addressing racism and renew their commitment
to the Charter for Racial Justice. The Committee is challenging you to start
your own Charter to Racial Justice Club. The Committee provides a choice of
actions for your unit to become a member of the club. Units must carry out a
minimum of three (3) or more activities annually. Your report is sent to your
District Coordinator of Social Action by September 1. The District Coordinator
will then send the report to the Conference Coordinator of Social Action. Each
action must show when the action took place. A certificate will be sent to the
units to be presented at one of their meetings.
